Natasha & Graham’s Bundaberg Wedding

Today’s feature wedding is our first from Bundaberg – a day full of sunshine, family and Queensland country beauty. Thank you so much to Morgan Parremore Photography and the happy couple for sharing their day with us!

How did you both meet? Tell us your love story.
Graham and I met on a school bus when we were 13. For years he picked on me on our way to school! When we reached High School we got to know each other better and have since been High School sweethearts.
Our favourite detail of the wedding was:
Our favourite part of our wedding day was having our two children being there with us. It was really important to us that they were a part of it all.
What was the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in planning your wedding?
Our biggest obstacle would have been the seating plan for the reception. We spent hours going over and over, changing and shuffling the arrangements! If we could redo that part again, we would have just told everyone to just pick their own seat when entering the reception. It all worked out in the end, but the amount of time and stress trying to sort it out could have been spent on something else.
Did you write your own vows? If so, what was your favorite phrase, verse or line?
A piece of our wedding vows:
“I promise to encourage you and inspire you, to love you truly through good times and bad. I will forever be there to laugh with you, to lift you up when you are down and to love you unconditionally through all of our adventures in life together.”
What advice do you have for couples currently planning a wedding?
One of the biggest things we found while planning our wedding was that there is so much influence from everyone trying to help us, that sometimes we lost track of what we wanted. Just remember that it’s your special day and it should be exactly the way you want it!

Chrissy from Picture Perfect Decorators went above and beyond to make our wedding look amazing. She is so helpful and made the planning of our wedding day so easy. Morgan our photographer was so easy to work with, I shared my visions with her and she brought them to life, better than I could have ever imagined. She was professional and very talented. All my guests felt at ease with her with her and she really made the wedding more enjoyable. And to top it off we have formed a great friendship. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

Tennille & Brent’s Yeppoon Wedding

I am always smitten when a Villa on the Beach wedding lands in my inbox! Today’s wedding of Tennille and Brent is beautifully captured by the lovely Madelyn Holmes. Here are a few words from her:  “The Villa has quickly become one of my favourite venues to photograph in Central Queensland, so it was great to head back there for Nellie & Brent’s I do’s. After rain and thunder through much of the day (which didn’t faze Nellie in the least, might I add) we were lucky enough to have the rain clear just in time for their ceremony. To make things even better, part way through their bridal portraits the sun returned and gave us the most spectacular sunset!”
